RLC Design Services likes to take the mystery out of running a website for our clients. To that end, we actually train our customers how to access their own website management platform, create new pages, blog posts, and keep up with website maintenance issues. When we develop a site, we do it with our customers direct input, and if possible we walk them through the creation of the site. We like to help our customers become hands on.
Oftentimes though, our web clients don’t have the time to keep up with their business and website maintenance. Even with all the educational materials we provide, we often find our clients not checking or updating their sites for months at a time. We get it. You want the site working in the background and sending you new guests or customers, but you really don’t want to get into the details of monthly site management. So we’re offering a few options for you!
Monthly and Yearly Website Maintenance
Here’s the truth of it. When we started deploying sites for clients across the country we put a lot of effort into training and empowering our clients. Each client receives a custom set of video tutorials about their website, management, and maintenance. We believe informed customers are capable of month to month maintenance. But what we’ve found is that our customers often don’t have the time to worry about the latest security patch. They’re not checking the back end of their website often, and that’s a concern to us here at RLC Design. Keeping your site up to date is critical to ensuring it continues working the way you expect it to, and ensuring you’re secure against any exploits out there!
After speaking with multiple clients who have been running with us for over a year we’ve decided to offer a few monthly and yearly maintenance options. And we’re very grateful that our customers understand what we’re offering. While we do keep tabs on our client sites, we also expect that they’re keeping up with their latest updates. These new service offerings are intended for folks who want long term care and maintenance of their site and would prefer to not do it themselves. “Set it and forget it.”
For new clients, your initial web development services come with 5 hours of phone support. We regularly check your sites to make sure they’re up and running. But when we complete your site the day to day management is in your hands. If you’d like us to keep up with your updates, fine tuning SEO, or even adding a few blog posts for you, these new offerings are for you!
Basic Maintenance
$125 per month, or $1200 per year for:
Monthly site maintenance, clearing spam comments, updating security releases and system releases, and one blog post per month written by RLC Design which will update to your website, and any social media you are using. We’ll keep you updated on when your yearly domain renewal and server renewal are up so you can make sure you’re up to date with your hosting provider. Additionally we’ll send out a monthly update e-mail to you, summarizing your statistics and updates for the month.
Maintenance Plus
$225 per month, or $2400 per year for:
Monthly site maintenance, clearing spam comments, updating security releases and system releases. Additionally, we’re offering blogging and SEO updates in this package. Up to four blog posts per month written by RLC Design which will update to your website, and any social media you are using, or regular SEO work on your current pages. The 4 blog posts per month will keep fresh information on your site, helping to increase traffic and search engine ranking. The SEO work will help keep you at the top of your search rankings. We’ll keep you updated on when your yearly domain renewal and server renewal are up so you can make sure you’re up to date with your hosting provider. Finally we’ll send out a monthly update e-mail to you, summarizing your statistics and updates for the month.
