Currently we’re wrapping up here in Kingman, AZ. It’s been an interesting week as we re-designed the website for Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel.
When you’re going through older websites there’s a lot to watch out for. My fun moment this week happened when the owner stopped by the Airstream to ask me about the music which was on his front page for the original site. “Music? I didn’t hear any music……”
As it turned out, he had an old MIDI file embedded into his original site. And my Mac does not support MIDI playback at all. Thank you Apple, I appreciate that.
Well, the music was an important feature for the owners, and they’ve had a lot of positive feedback on it from clients….so…..the music is back. For those who don’t like that on a page it’s simple. Scroll down and hit the pause button on the embedded player.
The park is pretty interesting, well maintained, and reasonably priced. In addition to that, they have WiFi that actually works (a plus for most RV’ers today). The pull through sites are incredibly large, and each space is very wide as well, allowing for room to breathe unlike so many other parks. Their ratings at RV Park Reviews are impressive. And the park owners, former Full Time RV’ers really understand what the traveling community wants.
