Our latest client site, McGavin Ranch, has been completed. It’s a little different than our RV Park website designs due to the fact that McGavin Ranch isn’t an RV Park or Resort. It’s a 55+ Active Adult Resort Community in Mesa, Arizona. So while working with the folks at McGavin we had to rethink the best ways to get them found, and who they’re really trying to reach!
While each park site we work on caters to their guest community, McGavin Ranch caters to their residents. People buy homes in the community, actively participate in different committees, plan some amazing recreational events both in and out of the community, and spend their retirement in a pretty nice and reasonable priced resort. So the site has more directed to their current community than an RV park site would.
The big winner for everyone there? The events calendar we included in the site. They can create as many events, recurring events, custom events, etc, as they please. Thus making it easier for community members to keep up with all the activities going on there every day! Also, residents can subscribe to the site to get the latest news going on in their resort community.
Altogether, the site came out pretty nice. We spend this past Tuesday reviewing the website with McGavin Ranch staff, tweaking the final look, selecting colors and fonts, and working out how the site navigation should work. Like all of our other clients, this resort community is now able to manage their own Internet presence, update the site themselves, and see how they’re doing compared to comparable communities in their area!
