While we work with all sorts of businesses, working with RV Parks makes for some interesting website re-designs. As full time RV’ers, we really do understand what guests are looking for when they come to your website. And we know the types of sites that draw us right in!
In the case of our newest client, Sundance 1 RV Resort, we have had a fair amount of work in front of us. Their original website was pretty dated, and it wasn’t easy to navigate when on a mobile device. So we went right to work this week on their site!
Sundance 1 RV Resort is located in Casa Grande, Arizona. It’s an incredibly nice park! They offer spaces for RV’ers, and spaces for Park Models as well. Pulling into the park on Tuesday we were wowed! 700 sites. An incredible office, and so many activity rooms. This is the largest park we’ve worked with to date! And we were happy for the opportunity!
A feature rich website
We’ve kept the site pretty simple. Not too many clicks in, as the more clicking you have to do to find something, the faster you navigate away. Still, we’ve added a few new features that should keep guests and future guests engaged with the site.
When we offered to put an activity calendar on the site I think everyone was pretty enthused. This park offers many activities every day for their residents. Let me stress, MANY! So keeping up with what’s going on will be a lot easier for both the park’s staff and it’s visitors as well.
Additionally, utilizing the blog as a newsletter is going to help the staff streamline the latest announcements for their visitors. Folks can sign up and receive the latest updates in their inbox, keeping them up to speed with the latest happenings at Sundance 1 RV Resort.
Overall, we’re pretty happy with the direction the site is going in. We’ll be sitting down to review it with the management in a few days, and with a few minor tweaks and esthetic updates this is going to be a site that benefits both the park and their guests as well.
This has been a fun RV Park website design project!
