Just for fun this morning I headed out into the great vast world of the internet and I did a few searches at Google.  I checked out trending on searches for RV Parks, campgrounds, and a few other terms.  And what I found was pretty interesting.

Potential guests searching for “RV Park,” are doing their searches on mobile devices more than on computers.  Actually, I’ll just let the graphic from Google tell the story.

"RV Park" is searched for on mobile devices more than on computers. Your clients are mobile!

What does this mean to RV Park owners?  Simple, their sites need to be mobile friendly.  The trending is going to continue shifting to mobile devices over the next few years as more and more Internet users continue to use their smartphones more than their computers.

For parks that haven’t converted to mobile ready sites you’re running a risk of losing potential guests to parks that have their information mobile ready.  When I’m searching for a place to camp for the night I am using my iPhone 100% of the time.  And if I can’t easily read a park’s website on my phone, can’t find your contact information, or your address, I’m moving on.  It’s that simple.  With over 80,000 searches per month for RV Parks, how many potential customers are you missing?
